PLA, a flexible and compostable bioplastic produced primarily from corn, cassava and sugar beets, is a true game-changer in the packaging industry. Our PLA, or polylactic acid, is sustainably made from corn and compostable bioplastic free of non-renewable petroleum. Clear PLA is ideal for cold or fresh applications and crystal clear food presentation. It is also used in our cutlery wrappers and PLA mineral paper, lining our packaging for leakproof performance.
CPLA is a crystallized polylactic acid, which has higher heat tolerance and strength than PLA. It is dishwasher-safe and can be reused. Perfect for hot and cold applications.
