Better Earth Sponsors Hyper-Local Food Festival AgLanta Eats

by | Aug 2, 2019

This July, Better Earth was proud to serve as a Community Sponsor for the hyper-local food festival AgLanta Eats and, through our 100% compostable products, help them meet their zero waste goals.

This annual event raises funds for the AgLanta Grows A-Lot program, which flips vacant properties for urban farmers and community gardeners, and features live tastings from a wide variety of all-star local chefs. You can imagine our excitement when we saw dozens of chefs plating fresh, local grub on Better Earth plates and bowls.

In the end, over 950 participants joined us as the Atlanta Botanical Gardens and, together, we raised more than $32,000 to support the Grows-A-Lot program. This will translate into several new productive urban farms that we are excited to contribute to for years to come in the form of compost. Local provider Compost Now transforms our products into quality compost that is donated to the Grows-A-Lot program and other garden partners.

We invite you to check out some of our favorite moments at AgLanta Eats, captured by event photographers Erik Voss & Daren Kohn. Best of luck not drooling!
